Extended Care

Many families need a safe, caring place for their children before and after the school day. Extended Care at Saint John Neumann provides a comfortable, faith-filled environment where students can finish homework, play with friends, and unwind.

• Supervised by caring school staff who know our students
• Time for homework, reading, and quiet activities
• Indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting)
• Simple snack after school
• Flexible options for busy family schedules

Before-School Care

• Opens: 7:00 a.m.

• Runs until the first bell

• Light activities and quiet play

After-School Care

• Begins at dismissal

• Ends at 5:30 p.m.

• Daily sign-in/sign-out for student safety

Hourly rate: $10/hour for the first child; $5/hour for each additional child.

Extended Care is available for students in Preschool–Grade 8 who are enrolled at Saint John Neumann Regional School. Enrollment may be limited by staffing and space.

Sample daily schedule:

• Check-in and snack
• Outdoor play or gym time
• Quiet homework / reading block
• Games, crafts, and free-choice activities
• Clean-up and dismissal

Extended Care gives students a chance to get a head start on homework before they go home for the evening. Staff are available to offer basic guidance. Extended Care includes a quiet time for homework and reading. 

Student safety is our highest priority. All Extended Care staff follow diocesan and school safety guidelines, including required background checks and clearances. Families will receive information about check-in procedures, authorized pick-up adults, and any additional program policies.
